As we have stated all along, with spring football under way, college coaches are headed south to check up on the rising senior class (2024) and the Class of 2025 juniors, they will be surprised to find that Miami-Dade and Broward Counties will be loaded with Class of 2026 rising sophomores.

No matter what position you check out in this class, you will find some impressive talent that is ready to make an impact in 2023 – if they haven’t already.

Talking to college coaches this past week, they are anxious to see some of the young talent in this region. They know they can plant seeds for the future like they do every year, and while the rising juniors and seniors dominate the football landscape, all know to follow some of these young men who impacted their respective teams as freshmen.

Today, with those college coaches roaming fields in both counties – as well as the entire state – much of the focus will be on those prospects. We checked out some offensive linemen who should continue to jump on the radar.

While it’s tough to pick out every offensive line standout in the class, we will bring you some to keep an eye on. Remember, college coaches check out our daily information, so if there is a prospect that needs to be added or an athlete has changed schools, please let us know.

Among those offensive linemen to keep track of during the spring and into the summer includes Ekeem Atehortua (Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna), Victor Bain (Miami Southridge), Barrett Bilotta (Pembroke Pines West Broward), Jaylen Blackwell (Miami Booker T. Washington), Anthony Brown (Miami True North Classical Academy), Yaniel Crespo Jr. (South Miami), Aundre Franklin (Somerset Homestead South - T), Bryan Granger (Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna - G) and versatile tackle Ben Gula (Weston Cypress Bay).

There is also Xavier Hill (Miami Southridge), Demetrius Hixon and Kemetrius Hixon (Fort Lauderdale Stranahan), Brandon Jeudi (Homestead South Dade), Jayvien Lima (Miami High), Kirby Vital (Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna) and Teddy Welch (Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas).

Because the offensive line position is so hard to predict and project early on, there were some other rising prospects who will start to emerge this spring and into the summer.
