The one thing that you find out about south Florida athletes is they grow up in a competitive football universe and are often looked upon to play more than one position.
Because youth football is so impressive in this region of the country, it is not unusual to find many of these young athletes performing at three and four different positions on both sides of the ball, which includes special teams.
The best thing about having older siblings who do the same things you do is learning on the run.
Whether it’s a father or a brother, the path that is followed is often the best part of the process.
With the 2020 season on the horizon, we are evaluating prospects at every position.
Because there are so many companies now in Florida, giving you their lists and opinions on prospects, you have to sort through those “sources” to see which ones have actually watched these football players that they are ranking and evaluating.
Nobody wants to be an advocate for a change of location, but sometimes it does work.
As south Florida has become the epicenter for athletes changing schools – and that is NOT glorifying it more than bringing the attention to what continues to transpire each year - top-fight athletes change schools for a number of reasons.
Because of the amount of talent that is produced annually in south Florida, there is a reason to actually get out and watch these gifted prospects live and not rely on what anyone else will tell you.
We are in the age of hanging around your home computer and watching the same film everyone gets a chance to view, and it has produced so many “experts” who have all the answers and rarely get out and see these student/athletes perform – feet away from you.
