The one thing that we will continue to do during this pandemic and throughout the 2020 season is promote every athlete in south Florida.
No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, we will promote EVERY PROSPECT in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
Having the pleasure of watching more football prospects LIVE in game conditions than any other source, we discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.
Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.
THE WATKINS PROFILE
PLAYER: Michael Watkins III
POSITION: WR
SCHOOL: Plantation American Heritage
CLASS: 2021
HEIGHT: 5-10
WEIGHT: 170
SCOUTING: There have been a number of prospects who have moved schools during this pandemic and in the months after the 2019 season came to an end.
As prospects moved from school to school in search of a better opportunity, here is someone who definitely made a move that has a chance to work out for himself and head coach Pat Surtain and the Patriots.
With several new faces on the offensive side of the ball, the Patriots are looking for this young man to do many of the things that he did for Coconut Creek the past two seasons.
His quickness, ability to get open and make plays is what this program is searching for in this impressive talent.
When he gets his hands on the ball, he can do some damage, and that is the kind of balance he adds to this program.
What Watkins does do is move the chains and advance the ball. Like the Cougars did, look for American Heritage to do much of the same. Jet sweeps, handoffs, quick passes, getting him involved in any way possible.
Has worked very hard in the time between last November and now, which should add up to something very positive.
