SPRING FOCUS – St. Thomas Aquinas Is National Ready – Again

It is no surprise when spring began that plenty of attention was directed to Fort Lauderdale and head coach Roger Harriott’s St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders.

For decades, this is indeed a program that set standards, developed talent and sent numerous prospects on to the next level – and beyond. This coming season will be no different – as impressive coaches and players will roll out another premier product.

Coming off a second straight 7A state title over Orlando Edgewater, and an 8-1 record during a pandemic year, this is a program that was anxious to get back on the field this spring.

With numerous jobs up for grabs, the competition has already heated up as some new faces and key returnees coming back to once again lift this program up.

While losing to 4A state champion Cardinal Gibbons last season, the Raiders then ran off seven straight wins to end the season – and start 2021 as one of the national favorites again.
