5 Fresh Faces To Watch In Miami-Dade & Broward Counties

If you have followed us for any length of time, you already know that when it comes to promoting and exposing ALL athletes at every level, very few can come close.

Our objective has always been about giving Miami-Dade and Broward County football prospects a forum where college coaches and recruiting services check out or lists and evaluations 12 months a year.

With the 2023 season winding down, there have been a number of younger football players that have been turning heads with their play.

While some have already jumped on the radar screen, there are others who have simply flown beneath the radar.

Today, we bring you five football players to keep an eye on:

2027 – Jayden Dean, OL, 6-2, 255, Miami Norland. In a region that very rarely produces elite offensive linemen, here is a freshman who has already shown that he is well on his way to becoming a top-flight “big man” over the next four years. His size, tremendous technique and maturity has given him some well-deserved exposure. Watch him emerge as a national talent over the next two seasons as he will attend exposure events that will provide him an opportunity to gain valuable exposure.

2026 – Robert Kerns, QB, 6-0, 185, SW Ranches Archbishop McCarthy. In a season where this program has turned it all around, this is versatile athletes who has flown way beneath the radar. A quality leader on offense, who has shown some impressive qualities beyond his years. Being able to play several positions will open some doors over the next three years. Look for his recruiting to pick up dramatically in the off-season as he has the chance to show what he brings to the table. Not a household name yet, but stand by.

2026 – Jason Lopez, Athlete, 5-11, 170, Miami True North Classical Academy. No matter where you put this quality talent, he steps up and turns heads. Already on the major college radar as a receiver and defensive back, his best years are definitely ahead. This is one of those rare prospects that college coaches have been raving about for the past two years on a team that has also opened a lot of eyes. If you think he’s a difference maker on the football field, his skill level as a basketball player are equally as impressive and head-turning. There is little doubt that this may be one of the best athletes in the state!

2026 – Louisdens Paul, LB, 5-10, 180, Miami Springs. While many who recruit and evaluate prospects choose to sit in front of a computer and watch film that anyone has access to, they continue to miss out on a talent like this. One of the fast-emerging linebackers in the state, his over 100 tackles for the Golden Hawks showed what he can do on the defensive side of the ball. Turned into quite a leader this season, and with the ability to play several positions, here is a gifted young man who will climb the ladder fast. Again, if you are a “computer recruiter” you will never find someone like this. He brings more to the table than what you watch on film.

2025 - Jabori Walton, CB, 6-0, 176, Miramar Everglades. Another of the hidden gems who makes plays and brings with him plenty of athleticism and skill. Has turned into a prospect that colleges are watching – bringing quickness and instinct to the table for the surprising Gators in 2023. Did we mention that he happens to be the younger brother of the great Duke Johnson, who is the University of Miami’s all-time leading rusher!
