Who Are The Top Players & What Roles Will They Play During The Season?
NEXT UP: Tiwan McCloud Is Not Getting Lost In A Talented Secondary

As the pandemic has dictated what has transpired on high school football fields across the country, south Florida has more than done its part to make things safe and competitive for the athletes who have missed out on the exposure needed.

No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, these athletes in south Florida continue to elevate their standing by competing pretty much year-round.

Having the pleasure of watching so many football prospects LIVE in game conditions, we have that opportunity to discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.

Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.

MCCLOUD PROFILE

PLAYER: Tiwan McCloud

POSITION: S

SCHOOL: Hallandale

CLASS: 2022

HEIGHT: 5-9

WEIGHT: 175

SCOUTING: In a secondary that is now as famous and talented as any in the state – and perhaps – the country – finding a place for another is never a problem.

Watching this impressive football player the past two years, you are seeing a “hybrid” defensive player. Someone who was athletic and versatile.

What he is – in any scheme – is someone who can play safety - because he’s physical and gifted in the passing game as well. He also has a linebacker mentality and will hit you.

Because he never gets the publicity or spotlight that he deserves, college coaches need to spend more time on his film when checking out all the talent that the Chargers have this season.

One of the parts of Tiwan’s game that stuck out the most was his ability to put himself in a position to make plays. He is quick, smart and understands how this defense works – and how he can best showcase his many abilities.

Make no mistake, when it comes to defense, Hallandale will be among the best – with many head-turners. This year, you can include Tiwan McCloud – he has more than deserved the recognition.
