Who Are The Top Players & What Roles Will They Play During The Season?
Angelo Ponds Gives Miami Carol City A Force In The Defensive Secondary

The one thing that we will continue to do during this pandemic and throughout the 2020 season is promote every athlete in south Florida.

No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, we will promote EVERY PROSPECT in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Having the pleasure of watching more football prospects LIVE in game conditions than any other source, we discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.

Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.

PONDS PROFILE

PLAYER: Angelo Ponds

POSITION: DB

SCHOOL: Miami Carol City

CLASS: 2021

HEIGHT: 5-10

WEIGHT: 180

SCOUTING: One of several prospects who head off to play for the Chiefs this coming season as the program looks to get back on track.

As this program has a number of quality defensive backs, here is one who figures to be the leader that first year head coach Dorean James and this program will need.

After playing a key role for a loaded Hollywood McArthur squad in 2019, this is a young man who brings plenty of talent, athleticism and experience with him.

If you have followed this sport long enough, you already know physical Carol City’s defenses have always been, and when play begins, you will see it from Ponds and this secondary unit that also features fellow seniors Wendell Curry, Donche’ Robinson and versatile Markeith Thomas, and junior standout Rayquan Adkins.
