Who Are The Top Players & What Roles Will They Play During The Season?
Northwestern’s Zuazo Continues To Boot The Competition

The one thing that we will continue to do during this pandemic and throughout the 2020 season is promote every athlete in south Florida.

No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, we will promote EVERY PROSPECT in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Having the pleasure of watching more football prospects LIVE in game conditions than any other source, we discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.

Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.

THE ZUAZO PROFILE

PLAYER: Leonardo “Leo” Zuazo

POSITION: PK

SCHOOL: Miami Northwestern

CLASS: 2021

HEIGHT: 5-8

WEIGHT: 160

SCOUTING: There was a time when special teams would not stand in the way of football programs winning championships. That is not the case anymore.

Take a look at all eight Florida high school football championships from 2019, and the one common bond was all had kickers, punters, long snappers and special teams performers – and that is not by mistake.

Special teams, as you know, are now a fulltime deal. Kickers, punters and long snappers work on their craft year – round, and this young man is certainly right in the middle of the showcase tour.

Besides working with OKC’s Oscar Castaneda, he is always training on his own, getting more accurate and making himself more attractive to colleges across the country.

While his Bulls won their third consecutive state championship last December, he was a huge reason why and head coach Max Edwards and the staff wil tell you that in a second.

His kickoffs, extra points and field goals were instrumental in the Bulls run toward another title.

Having watched him live for three years, this is someone who is focused and will do what is needed to get better.

If you have followed special teams throughout the years – and we continue to cover and expose more specialists at major events than anyone, you appreciate someone like this. The competition he is up against at national showcases blows away anything he will face in any game.
