With the state playoffs a week away, we hit the final Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the regular season with mixed emotions for many Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
With many of the top tier programs using Week 11 as a time to rest up for the state playoffs – others will give their seniors one final opportunity to attract college scholarship attention.
No matter what the format and classification change had brought this season, winning cured all, and for many programs who head into the first round of the playoffs, this was a season that served many purposes.
Ask any coach, player or fan and all will agree that this season went way too fast. The build up that happened for over nine months seemed to flash by right before our eyes.
When play starts to today, it will signal three days of regular season football that will create memories for some and will bring the end to their career that started in youth leagues and will come to an end as seniors in high school.
