With the state playoffs a week away from getting started, two of the programs who figure to be in the mix for titles will be in action this evening.
Class 8A Miami Palmetto (2-0) and 5A Miami Northwestern (1-1) will clash tonight (7:30) at Traz Powell Stadium.
Two of the five (Miami Edison, Homestead and Miami Central) teams to opt in the playoffs will be the second game of the doubleheader at The Mecca.
Miami Norland (1-1) will take on state playoff-bound Edison at 3:30 in a game that promises to be an interesting matchup.
