If we learned anything the past few years when it comes to talent in south Florida, it doesn’t make a different what grade you are in – if you can play – you will have your chance.
No matter if it’s an 8th grader, freshman or sophomore, football prospects in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties have long been difference makers as soon as they reach the varsity level. It’s nothing new. It has existed for decades.
There is no getting around the level of talent that is produced in this region is mind-boggling, and we continue to see it each and every year.
PLAYER: Richard Thomas
SCHOOL: Deerfield Beach
SCOUTING: Watch this quality football talent play and it is hard to believe that he is only going to be a junior.
An amazing prospect who hit the ground running as a freshman, and again this past year as a sophomore at Plantation American Heritage.
Solid football player who has gained valuable experience the past two seasons in the post season – and now as he moves on to play 8A football for the Bucks – he will be counted on quite a bit to bring his experience and passion for the game.
Having watched him since he started his first game at the varsity level and he was ready from Day 1. While coaching played a huge part in this process, this was indeed someone who has always been talented and way beyond his years in maturity.
Watch him play and you will be sold at what he brings to the table. Solid prospect who still has two years left to turn heads and make a major impact.
