Thursday South Florida High School Sports Rewind – March 13th .

Once again on Thursday night the South Florida High School Sports Radio Show took center stage with three impressive guests.

Each and every week, the AM 560 WQAM radio program attracts the newsmakers in high school sports, recruiting college sports – not only locally, but throughout the country.

The show gives listeners an opportunity to hear about college football programs statewide from the media that cover them. It also focuses on the coaches who use the state of Florida – Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in particular.

The show, which has run for nearly two decades has become a popular listen for recruiting fans as well as high school sports purists, focusing in on coaches and players in all sports.

Here is a look at the way Thursday went:

For the 27th time in school history, South Dade High School’s wrestling program brought home another state title. Head Coach Vic Balmeceda joined the show.

The Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas boys’ basketball team brought home a state title last week and head coach Julius Sandi talked about it.
