Seven Straight For St. Thomas Aquinas?

Moments after their convincing 34-0 win against previously unbeaten Lakeland in the 5A state title game, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Roger Harriott and his staff quickly put the focus on 2025.

Winning their amazing sixth straight state championship, the Raiders knew that while they were losing some key playmakers, there were numerous prospects coming back to a program that has built a dynasty in the state of Florida.

For the next few months, we will look at what the state of Florida football programs have coming back for 2025.

While we know the rosters will change with additions and subtractions, this gives college coaches and fans an opportunity to see some of the prospects who will have a chance to make an impact this coming year.

We continue with our state finalists and then continue with the other teams across the Sunshine State.

Here are some of those 2026 rising senior prospects to keep an eye on, which include Jakhi Barber (DL, 6-1, 265), Mekhi Bradley (OL, 6-4, 275), Jeremiah Brooks (Athlete, 6-0, 225 – 3.5 GPA), Chase Correthers (WR/TE, 6-3, 205 – 3.5 GPA), Travon Crapps (DB, 6-1, 170), Shiloh Dent (LB, 6-2, 215), Jerry Derosier (RB, 5-10, 175), John DiSalvatore (K/P, 5-10, 145 – 4.1 GPA), Jermiyah Douglas (DB, 5-9, 175), and Cole Drum (QB, 6-0, 170).

The class also features Nick Farber (OL, 6-0, 210), elite national recruit Justice Fitzpatrick (DB, 6-2, 190), Antonio Garcia (TE, 6-1, 180), fast rising Phillip Goodrich Jr. (LB, 6-0, 215 – 3.65 GPA), Holden Harkins (LS, 5-10, 200 – 3.65 GPA), Aidan Hrenick (OL, 6-0, 250), impressive Ben Lamas (S, 6-1, 180 – 3.4 GPA), Brady Lynch (LS, 5-10, 170 – 3.91 GPA), recent West Boca Raton transfer Mason Mallory (6-2, 190), Cooper Metzger (LB, 6-0, 190), and versatile Evan Mickow (TE/LS, 6-6, 205 – 3.9 GPA).

Rounding out 2026 are Christien Moreau (DT, 6-1, 290), Allen Norcius (WR, 6-0, 185), Daniel Norman (DE, 6-4, 230), Jaz Robinson (LB, 6-0, 180 – 3.5 GPA), Jordan Roache (WR, 5-11, 170), Shane Rochelle (OLB/DE, 6-1, 205 – 3.9 GPA), Kingston Ross (WR, 6-0, 180), Joel Cyrhus Senecharles (DT, 5-8, 235 – 4.3 GPA), Isaiah Smith (RB, 5-10, 175 – 3.8 GPA), impressive Dylan Steen (OL, 6-5, 290), Conrad Tolerico (P, 5-11, 150 – 3.6 GPA), and Langston C. Weatherspoon (DL, 6-2, 280 – 3.4 GPA).

STRONG UNDERCLASS ONCE AGAIN

The success of this program is how the players are developed from junior varsity to the varsity level. The Class of 2027 rising juniors have some quality prospects – with fast rising Derrick Baker (QB, 6-1, 220 – 4.2 GPA), Ri’Chard Bowe (DB, 6-0 170), Temorris Campbell (LB, 6-1, 215), solid Jaden Carey (CB, 6-0, 165 – 3.7 GPA), battle tested quarterback transfer Cody Conness (6-1, 190),  Finn Crissy (WR, 6-0, 165 – 4.5 GPA), nationally recognized Jayden Dean (OC, 6-3, 277 – 3.75 GPA), Trevoris Finley (DL, 6-3, 230), heavily recruited Zayden Gamble (DB, 6-1, 170 – 3.7 GPA), and Giovanni Garner II (OL, 6-4, 320).

The 2027 class will also see Omar “Juice” Gonzalez (WR/DB, 5-11, 165), Chase Goodrich (DT, 6-0, 250 – 3.4 GPA. Wrestler), fast rising legacy Cannon Gulla (OLB/DE, 6-2, 195 – 4.9 GPA), elite national prospect Julius Jones Jr. (WR, 5-11, 160), legacy Christopher Kern (K, 6-2, 165), Jackson Leimberg (LB, 6-1, 215), steady Virgil Lemons (RB/Slot, 5-8, 170), Brayden Massucco (TE/DE, 6-1, 215), and Mark Matthews (DT/OT, 6-6, 270).

There is also promising 2028 running back Andre Jones (5-10, 160).
