Recruiting News

WEST PALM BEACH – Last Friday night marked the opening of the busy summer camps schedule.

As players and coaches headed in different directions, the end of school signaled that it was time for football prospects throughout the state – south Florida in particular – to gain that edge that will be needed when the 2026 season begins in late August.

For North Miami High and head coach Gerald Cox, a 7-4 season fell short of the Pioneers’ goals, but it also served as a reminder to the returning players that in order to raise the bar and not be eliminated in the opening round of the state playoffs, the off-season, which included the summer, had to become a priority.

In the past North Miami had attended several events across the state, and that was in the plans again the next few months. But getting better also meant that the returning prospects would also have to step up and go to things on their own.

Last Friday night, it was off to Keiser for several North Miami prospects to compete, learn and get better – and they all did.

From testing to drills and competition – the Keiser University “Friday Night Lights” camp was the perfect start for the end of spring and the beginning of summer.

Here are a few of those Pioneers who took advantage of that opportunity:
