Piper Makes The Most Out of Keiser University Friday Night Lights Event

When it comes to getting his football players exposure, there are very few coaches like Sunrise Piper’s Quentin Short.

No matter where he has been throughout his career, the name of the game for Coach Short is to make sure that his prospects are exposed and have the chance to compete against the best.

With a full summer of travel and camps ahead, the Bengals began in West Palm Beach for the Keiser University Friday Night Lights event.

Seventeen players headed north for the first off-season summer camp of 2026 as this program is coming off a very productive spring as they aim for another season in which they advanced to the post season.

With position players and linemen getting the chance to showcase their many talents in front of head coach Myles Russ and the Seahawk’s coaching staff.

Among the seniors (2027) on hand were John Hodge (DB - 3.85 GPA), Rylan Bruce (OL - 3.4 GPA), Julian Johannes (OL - 3.0 GPA), Sayf Hawa (DL) and defensive end Caleb Henry.

Some of the 2028 juniors on hand were rising standout Stone Campbell (OL/DL), Terry Griffin (OL), Richard Poilucci (OL), Jaylen Charles (DB/WR), Cambry Nolan (DB/LB), Dallas Caldwell (DL) and linebacker Demari Adams.

Class of 2029 sophomores getting some experiences were Walter Lewis (WR), Jason Parker (WR), Tyler Yancey (WR), Jeremiah Hodge (DB) and running back Adonis Green.
