One of the most popular radio shows of its kind moved to Tuesday night this week for two hours after Hurricane Hotline on 104.3 FM – WQAM.

Six guests talked spring football in high school, took a look at college football as well as high school girls’ flag football and baseball.

Each week, the FM 104.3 WQAM radio program attracts the newsmakers in high school sports, recruiting college sports – not only locally, but throughout the country.

The show gives listeners an opportunity to hear about college football programs statewide from the media that cover them. It also focuses on the coaches who use the state of Florida – Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in particular.

The program, which has run for nearly two decades and has been recognized nationally as one of the best of its kind, has become a popular listen for recruiting fans as well as high school sports purists, focusing on high sports and the newsmakers.

For the second straight year, the Miami Edison girls’ flag football team brought home the 1A state title and head coach Vince Hall talked about how the Lady Red Raiders have a great shot for a 3-Peat in 2027.

After finishing 10-1 a year ago, the Fort Lauderdale Dillard football program is back and ready to take things one step further this coming season. Head Coach Demitris Mincey spoke about the new coaches that were added to impact the program.

With college summer camps coming up quickly, Florida Memorial University has jumped aboard and joined the rest with some impressive events coming up over the next month.
