THE SCOOP
When the 2021 season came to an end, and the Gators failed to win a game, the focus was immediately on the future.
Enough was enough and this program was tired of being on the bottom, so things started to change. New coaches were brought on and an emphasis of being a year-round program with a purpose came into focus.
While a number of seniors return for 2022, the emphasis was put squarely on the younger prospects.
Loaded up with Class of 2024 juniors, Class of 2025 sophomores and incoming freshmen, this is a program that is certainly headed in the other direction, and that is something that started to surface in the spring.
While this team knows that the rebuild will not come overnight, there is a feeling that has not be in place for a number of years.
With a commitment to working hard this summer, here is a look at several of those prospects who will be a huge part of the growing process:
