Bell, Goleman Look Toward 2025 Season

At a time when loyalty and starting what you finish are two phrases that are seldom used when it comes to high school sports, you have Darryl Bell III.

Committed to attend Florida State University two years ago as a sophomore, this 6-0, 195-pounder remains one of the best football players in the state of Florida and easily among the top in south Florida.

While top-flight programs annually play for district, regional and state championships, Bell has chosen to stand by Miami Lakes Barbara Goleman for a number of reasons.

While veteran head coach Ariel Cribeiro and his Gators are not among the best teams in Miami-Dade County, this program and the school does offer a quality education and values that Bell and his head coach, who also graduated from the school, have in common.

For Bell, it has been a matter of a true family feeling – where teammates, classmates, educators and administrators are all on the same page. He also realizes that it doesn’t make a difference where he goes, the colleges who have been after him will still be actively recruiting him.

As he embarks on his senior season, Bell and his team will look once again to advance to the state playoffs, where the Gators lost to Boca Raton in the first round in overtime, 27-21.

In addition to what he brings to the table as a prospect (https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17750834/672999db6b236b5c50a4cf3a), here is a look at some of the other rising seniors (2026):
