What the 2023 football season came down to for South Plantation was inconsistency.

Head Coach Colby Erskin and the Paladins started the year out 3-0, but would win only one more time during the season.

While the impressive start added plenty of enthusiasm and optimism, huge losses to rival Plantation and Piper sent the season spinning downward.

When the team lost the final four games of the year, this program took a step back and looked toward the off-season.

With spring a little over a month away, the objective has been to put in work that will pay off in the summer.

With some key returners coming back along with new faces, there is reason to believe that the prospects – especially the rising seniors (2025) – are tired of losing and are willing to do something about it.
