With spring practice starting early next week, 10 Miami-Dade and Broward football prospects are getting a jump on the competition this Saturday in Orlando.
The winter stop on the Prep Redzone Florida Combine tour will be at Boone High School on Saturday from 12 noon until 3 as over 100 Class of 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 players will showcase their talents one more time before the month-long spring practice and summer.
With events held all over the country, Prep Redzone has provided more exposure than any other source – with colleges and universities across the nation having a chance to see test results and competition video and evaluations.
Some of the elite talent from Florida will be on hand – including 2025 prospects Peyton Holloway (DE, 5-11, 227, Niceville), Connor Howes (OL, 6-6, 300, St. Cloud), Brady Messick (LB, 6-0, 215, Palm Harbor University), Caden Mitchell (QB, 6-0, 180, Oviedo Hagerty), and Brandon Paul (WR, 5-10, 170, Orlando Edgewater).
Class of 2026 statewide standouts will include Tyson Davison (QB, 6-2, 185, Apopka), Ryan Ingram (OL, 6-2, 275, Jacksonville Bolles), Darryon Jones (QB, 6-3, 215, Tampa Hillsborough), Zion Matthews (RB, 5-10, 193, Orlando Dr. Phillips), Zamarri Powell (WR/RB, Fort Walton Beach Choctawhatchee), Kingston Shaw (LB, 6-4, 215, Apopka), and Jorris Shephard (QB, 6-2, 180, Boca Raton St. John Paul II).
Even the Class of 2027 will have some impressive competition with J.D. Brown (QB, 6-2, 176, Santa Rosa Beach South Walton), Drew Follett (TE/DE, 6-4, 230, Winter Park), Cooper Hayes (QB, 6-0, 170, Tampa Berkeley Prep), William Jackson (QB, 6-4, 180, Lake Minneola), Rodney Johnson (DB, 5-10, 155, Jacksonville Trinity Christian), Caden Osborn (QB, 6-0, 170, Pensacola West Florid), Trent Richburg (WR, 6-5, 187, Ocala Forest), and Landon Wolney (WR/TE, 6-3, 205, Naples First Baptist).
