The one thing that we will continue to do during this pandemic and throughout the 2020 season is promote every athlete in south Florida.
No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, we will promote EVERY PROSPECT in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
Having the pleasure of watching more football prospects LIVE in game conditions than any other source, we discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.
Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.
THE BLACK PROFILE
PLAYER: Jertavis Black
POSITION: DL
SCHOOL: Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons
CLASS: 2021
HEIGHT: 6-0
WEIGHT: 260
SCOUTING: What Jertavis Black represents as a student/athlete is something that so many strive for these days, and yet, he is not getting anywhere the recognition he should.
Here is a talented young man who gets it done on the football field – as a gifted and versatile defensive linemen with a solid work ethic and plenty of talent. He is a dependable playmaker on a team that has an opportunity to make a run in 4A this season.
He is strong, athletic and learns quickly. Speaking about learning fast, he also happens to be very good in the classroom, which we all know carries so much weight in life.
In addition to football and work in the classroom, this is also one of the top-rated returning wrestlers for the Chiefs’ outstanding program.
In a football recruiting universe where not going past watching film is fashionable for some odd reason, this is certainly a prospect that needs to get the spotlight shining in his direction – because this is a young man who has so much to offer now – and into the future.
