Who Are The Top Players & What Roles Will They Play During The Season?
St. Thomas Aquinas Junior Derrieon Craig Makes The Most of His Opportunities

As we are now in the off-season, you can guarantee that we will be watching every prospect in south Florida.

No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, we will promote EVERY PROSPECT in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Having the pleasure of watching more football prospects LIVE in game conditions than any other source, we discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.

Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.

PLAYER: Derrieon Craig

SCHOOL: Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas

CLASS: 2022

HEIGHT: 5-10

SCOUTING: When it comes to teaching football, St. Thomas Aquinas has long had coaches who have done just that.

The school is known for producing elite talent, and through the decades, the Raiders’ footprint is everywhere – from college to the NFL.

At St. Thomas Aquinas, it is never a given that the path to the top would be easy, and for this one-time Delray Atlantic potential standout, it took making plays and being around the football. He also made the most of his opportunities.

In the state championship game against Orlando Edgewater, this impressive football talent was all around the field, making plays and showing that this team has a solid playmaker coming back.

The thing that coaches and players alike were impressed the most about is the way he was one step ahead – thinking and playing at once. His knack of making game-changing plays is going to be something that head coach Roger Harriott and this program will benefit from in a huge way.

In this short championship run, it’s been tough for everyone to grab that spotlight. But in Craig’s case, he never stopped working to realize his dreams.

For the past 50 years, we have spent more time on football fields than anyone in the country. From games to practices, camps, combines and 7-on-7 events, nobody has evaluated more football talent than we have. We will remain steadfast to promote all south Florida’s high school football prospects. Follow us on Facebook (Larry Blustein- SFHSports) and Twitter (@SFHSSports - @larryblustein).
