No. 3 Miami Norland (3-0) at No. 4 Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna (2-2), 7. The most competitive season in memory will continue in Week 5 this evening with a pair of Top 20 games taking place in each county.
The marquee matchup will take place in Hollywood when last year’s 2M state runner up Miami Norland takes on defending 1M state champion Chaminade-Madonna.
Before the season began, there was a sense that this game would indeed be huge – even though head coach Dameon Jones and his Lions have lost twice already this season.
Chaminade-Madonna is trying to fill several holes left from last year – when several gifted high-level prospects moved on to college, including the No. 1 and No. 2 receivers in the nation.
For head coach Daryle Heidelburg and his Vikings, the objective – in 4A this season – was to get back to the title game.
While they were beaten in the kickoff classic, this team has rebounded with three straight wins – the most impressive last week when they came from behind in the fourth quarter to beat Miami Northwestern.
While this game will be important and competitive, both teams still have a long road with a challenging schedule.

No. 11 Miami Christopher Columbus (2-2) vs. No. 6 Miami Northwestern (2-2), 7. This is another of the games that many had looked forward to when the season started, but both come into the Traz Powell Stadium matchup with the loser falling below the .500 mark.
For head coach Dave Dunn and his two-time defending state champions, the season has not started well, evening though three of the four games have been close. This is a team that is always in the mix, and with 7A not being as strong in the south as it has been, this team still has the opportunity to make a splash in the playoffs.
For first year head coach Teddy Bridgewater and his Bulls this has been an up and down season so far. Two wins have been impressive and even the two setbacks have been by a total of six points to a pair of undefeated teams.
Northwestern saw their lead disappear in the fourth quarter last week against Miami Norland.
