Five More Area Prospects For Wednesday

Some high school football recruiting sites promote star-rated athletes very well, but when it comes to shining a light on every prospect, they fall short.

Because we have the opportunity to watch more football players and teams live than any other source, new talent that many would never find out about are appearing each and every Wednesday – as well as throughout the entire year.

With four weeks of the high school football season in the books, we once again shine the light on five more football players in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties:

2025 – Terrence Honeywood, WR/DB, 6-2, 175, Miami Norland. Here is a versatile, two-way football talent that has given the Vikings a major boost with his play on the field as well as his leadership, working with the younger prospects. In addition to competing in track & field, he also gets it done in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. Colleges need to check out this impressive student/athlete.

2025 – Anthony Joicin, DE/OLB, 6-3, 215, Miami Edison. If you don’t watch games live, this is someone you may skip over. This is a playmaker with a motor that never stops. He is quick off the ball and will get into any backfield to disrupt the offense. Can play the edge or perhaps outside linebacker at the next level. Is also very serious in the classroom – with a 3.2 GPA.

2027 – Jayden Miller, QB, 5-11, 185, Fort Lauderdale NSU University School. When he made the over to attend the school and play football, he certainly made the right move as he has become one of south Florida’s top sophomore quarterback prospects, giving the Sharks another weapon on the offensive side of the ball. In addition to making an impact on the football field, his 3.4 GPA in the classroom is also impressive and will be another tool in the recruiting process.

2025 – Matthew Pointer, DE, 6-6, 238, Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna. On a team loaded with talent, here is someone who has quietly become a force for state-rated Lions. Coming over from Fort Lauderdale, this FIU commitment is turning heads as a game-changer that this program needs moving forward. He is also a basketball player, using his athleticism and athletic ability.

2026 – Nicsaint Joseph Jr., WR, 6-2, 170, Miami Northwestern. On a team loaded with quality receivers, here is someone we rarely hear about, but after watching him perform, you can understand why everyone is starting to take notice of this athletic route runner with impressive hands and the ability to get plenty of yards after making a catch. He is indeed one of the fast-rising pass catchers.
