Long Awaited Chaminade-Madonna/Miami Central Game Tonight

It has been talked about since the game was scheduled. A Thursday night national showdown between the No. 1 and No. 2 teams locally – and elite programs nationally.

The Hollywoo Chaminade-Madonna (4-0) and Miami Central matchup this evening (7:00) was so important that the ESPN2 cameras will be rolling at “The Mecca” – Traz Powell Stadium.

With both programs already going through early season national tests, Lions’ head coach Dameon Jones and Rockets’ second-year head coach Jube Joseph have heard enough of the hype and talk. It’s time to show the country that south Florida high school football is second to none.

With seven of the top 25 teams in the country coming from Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, there is no getting around the fact that NO other area in the nation can boast a weekly gauntlet of competition that the “305” and “954” must navigate.

It's time to kick this impressive matchup off and see who is indeed “King of the Hill”.
