Hialeah, Miami Southridge Kickoff Week 4

Here we go. Week No. 4 already and there will be some more ranked Miami-Dade and Broward County teams in action.

District games will start to dictate what the  be all aboupost season willt.

No.19 Hialeah vs. No. 10 Miami Southridge, 7 (Southridge Park). After losing a three-point game in the season opener to Miami Christopher Columbus, head coach Pierre Senatus and his Miami Southridge Spartans have started to flex some muscles.

With some huge district games coming up over the next month, tonight’s game against Hialeah can put this program on a track where there will be one of south Florida’s best teams.

Loaded with talent and big play

If they are to move to 3-1, they will have to get by head coach Tony Smith and his Hialeah squad that come in 2-1 after two straight wins after losing the opener to Miami Carol City

This is a program, coming off an impressive 9-2 season in 2023 and owes Southridge a little payback after losing to the Spartans 48-23 in the state playoffs.

Hialeah, as they showed in the off-season, has talent and will be a force.

Miami Edison at No. 6 Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna, 7. After a huge win last Friday night against Plantation American Heritage, the Lions and head coach Dameon Jones are back home for this rare Thursday night game against head coach Luther Campbell and his Red Raiders.

This is the first district game for both teams and will be important for the winner – with only Hollywood Avant Garde remaining on both of their schedules.
