THE SCOOP
After a district title and a playoff appearance, there is a lot to be excited about - as prospects continue to emerge.
This is certainly a program that has enjoyed success in northeast Miami-Dade County, and as the 2022 season emerges, you can expect the same – with a solid mix of veteran and youth coming together.
Every season things get better for the Lightning – as colleges and universities flock to the campus, watching some premier athletes, and this spring will be huge for many of the prospects.
Here is a look at some of the talent this program boasts for the upcoming season:
CLASS OF 2023
Nicolas Garcia (OL, 6-5, 315)
Here is a tremendous talent with great size and frame to be a D1 football player, he is a 3.2 GPA student a tireless worker and a leader up front for the OLine. He is a 450-pound squatter, a 300-pound bencher, 550 pound deadlift had a very good junior year!

Guyteau Salvador (DE/TE, 6-4, 225)
Guyteau is just scratching the surface of his potential, a two-way player, he has a great frame, quick feet, aggressive and extremely physical and athletic. Had a great junior year, has the size and speed as a Division 1 Prospect.
Kiesean Browne (DB, 6-1, 205)
Has the size and frame to be a D-1 Player. Only question would be his top-end speed Will be a safety at the next level. Physical tackler and hitter, transfer from Miramar and is having an immediate impact. 45 tackles 3 TFL 10 PBU and 2 INT 1 FF on the year is running track as well.

Shai Momplaisir (LB, 6-0, 195)
Shai is a very explosive and twitched up athlete with great natural instincts at the LB position. Very good in open space, smooth hips and phenomenal closing speed. A physical hitter who goes through people on tackles and has a nose for the ball and great ball skills as well. A 2 year varsity starter is poised to have a huge senior year. Also is a track runner!

Elijah Brown (LB, 6-0, 200)
Brown is a true product of hard work, dedication and commitment. He is an outstanding student and put on 25 pounds of muscle this off-season. He has turned into an outstanding young instinctual linebacker with big play ability and checks every box when talking about being a recruited prospect at the next level. Very athletic and an extremely disciplined leader.

Julius Pascal (Athlete, 5-11, 180)
This young man is an athlete who plays RB/FS/WR/KR/PR and is a great blocker as well. Explosive and has game-breaking speed to take it the distance. Physical tackler with great range and can get off the hash as a DB. Outstanding in the return game and has a work ethic and grades.

O'Neal Webb (DB, 5-11, 185)
Here is a very talented and explosive athlete. He runs track in the spring and is explosive on the field and physical tackler with a nose for the football. Plays safety as well as corner and has a great body type and frame for the next level.

GJamari Cooley (OL/DL, 6-1, 240)
Here is a talented young man who plays with a mean streak, competes hard and is a strong man with an outstanding motor - and is a great leader on and off the field.
2024
Roger Adam III (RB, 6-0, 190)
RJ is a big time football talent who runs people over, averaging 8-yards per carry and over 100+ per game with 10 TD’s. He is special and has great tape. Only going to improve and a worker who is a physical runner, very strong in the classroom and weight room, Running track in the spring. Ran for over 1,000 yards and was recognized as 2nd team all Miami-Dade and 3rd team All-State.

Caleb Turner-Allen (DE/LB, 6-2, 220)
Here is a physical specimen with 4.5 speed as a sophomore. He has all the physical tools to be a D1 player, who competes with a mean streak, is physical and flies to the football. Great closing speed and explosive athlete. He is a track star that will have verified track times to back up his speed. Finished the season with 9 sacks and 2 Fumble returns for TD’s and 15 TFL’s. Ran 11 Flat in the 100 this year will easily break 11 before next year.

Kalel Pascal (CB, 6-0, 170)
Already offered by FAU and UMass, here is a natural corner, has smooth hips, great twitch and burst out of his break. A physical and great tackler in open space and has very good ball skills. He is a D1talent and a top-flight corner who is a smart player on and off the field. Also runs track as well in the spring. Had a career best 12 tackles against perennial power Columbus in the playoffs.

Nathan Adras (DL/HBack, 5-10, 235)
While he was a starting center in 2021, and did a great job, he will be getting a chance to play defensive line as well and some H-Back in 2022. A two-sport star being a wrestler as well. Primed to have a outstanding junior year!
2025
Jaelen Smith (OL/DL, 6-2, 250)
This quality talent got valuable reps on varsity at Guard and DT - even started as well. Very physical and strong and has a chance to be a dominant player up front, looking like a true D1 prospect. Explosive twitch and gets off the ball. Also is in honors classes and extremely intelligent young man with great leadership ability. He is only 14!!!!
Quinn Gray Jr. (DE, 6-2, 190)
This gifted young man is a natural baller, playing TE as well as being super athletic. Explosive with twitch and outstanding off the ball. Can run and lean and bend so natural just like Derrick Thomas. Reminds many of a young Demarcus Ware.
Qwincy Bonne-Annee (LB/FB, 6-0, 210)
Here is a young football talent who has a great frame and body type. Very physical with great hands, closes on tackles in open space and has outstanding instincts at LB. Tremendous potential and is definitely a D1 prospect, getting varsity playtime at linebacker and all special teams.
Ronald Towns (WR/Return Specialist, 5-9, 165)
This is a smooth athlete with fluid hips and the speed and explosiveness to take it the distance. He is a solid route runner at an early age and has very good hands. Playing varsity on offense and special teams, he is expected to be one of the best in south Florida.
