Having covered high school football in south Florida for 55 years and watching the sport for at least 10 more, you tend to come across elite talent.

Being blessed to have watched some of the best who have ever played the sport of football, every season brings new faces with talent and energy that will be remembered.

From year to year, we have had prospects who have proudly advanced to college and ultimately the NFL.

Today, as we head toward the 2025 high school football season, we take a look back 10 years – to 2015 – checking out the players who raised the bar to salute those before them – and those who will follow for years and decades.

Washington).

The Class also featured Jaquan Johnson (S, Miami Killian), Carlton Davis (CB, Miami Norland), Devonaire Clarington (TE, Miami Booker T. Washington), Shawn Burgess-Becker (Athlete, Coconut Creek Monarch), Jordan Cronkrite (RB, Miami Westminster Christian), Tim Irvin (Athlete, Westminster Christian School), Davante Davis (CB, Miami Booker T.
