Look anywhere in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties and you will see talent at every position.
While some get more publicity than others, the one position that is always athletic, full of talent and being noticed is the defensive line.
Whether it be the interior prospects, ends or edge rushers, it seems like the talent that is produced in these two counties – on the defensive line – is something that college coaches have long paid plenty of attention to.
When you turn on the television on Saturday or even Sunday, you will find elite line prospects who started their careers here in south Florida. Football talent that has continued to grow and mature.
The growth of the defensive linemen has been amazing. Many point to the coaching and the switch of positions. Because many mature and grow during their junior and senior years, a change of position is often dictated, moving players from offense to defense, linebacker to edge or defensive end to the interior.
Ass we follow EVERY player in south Florida, we give the spotlight and recognition to each student/athlete who plays.
REMEMBER, this spotlight on the defensive linemen in the Class of 2024 is designed to promote and give college coaches an opportunity to see the talent. As usual, if there are ANY CHANGES that need to be made, please send it to us and we will get it done immediately. The objective is to get the information right so colleges have the latest on our talent when they recruit this region of the state.
Today, we check out some impressive and deep defensive linemen:
