We are now one month away from the second annual Broward County National Football Showcase, and the nation is starting to find out just how prestigious this event is.
After last season’s exciting seven games, featuring seven Broward County schools and some of the top out-of-state programs in the country, it’s time for Round 2.
With St. Thomas Aquinas, Cardinal Gibbons, Western, Chaminade-Madonna and Plantation American Heritage returning after coming up with wins, Miramar and Monarch have been added to the mix this season.
The one thing that these games will not lack is talent. Commitments and offers from colleges and universities nationally will be on display for the 14 teams.
With Shawn Cerra and Dr. Kevin Perry once again handpicking the matchups, all games will have prospects that we will here from for years to come.
“This is quicky becoming an event that will be one of the yearly showcases that the nation will be watching,” Dr. Perry pointed out. “Just look at how much talent there is on the 14 rosters that will be taking part. We have already received several inquiries from national powerhouses about coming next year.”
