Palmetto’s Diego Navia Has Worked Hard To Be One of The Best

The one thing that we will continue to do during this pandemic and throughout the 2020 season is promote every athlete in south Florida.

No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, we will promote EVERY PROSPECT in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Having the pleasure of watching more football prospects LIVE in game conditions than any other source, we discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.

Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.

THE NAVIA PROFILE

PLAYER: Diego Navia

POSITION: K/P

SCHOOL: Miami Palmetto

CLASS: 2021

HEIGHT: 6-2

WEIGHT: 200

SCOUTING: During this off-season, kicking guru Oscar Castaneda talked about the specialists that are being groomed in south Florida.

What the founder of the OKC Kicking Camp was talking about is the kickers and punters in south Florida were perhaps the best and deepest group of prospects that this region has ever produced.

With quality seniors – catching the attention of college coaches – to the underclassmen, who have jumped on the national radar faster than ever before – elite kickers and punters are making noise at high schools all over the place.

For Navia, who comes in this year from South Dade, he is one of those kickers that got lost in the shuffle of all the national talent that Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach continues to churn out, but his work ethic and tireless hours put in has elevated him to a place where he is now regarded as one of the best.

Strong and accurate leg and in a position with the Panthers this season where he will be noticed and rewarded for what he has done during this pandemic to thrust himself into a rather bright spotlight.
