NEXT UP: LaSalle’s Versatile & Tough Luis Bodden

The best thing about the off-season is getting the opportunity to see some impressive football prospects perform – and this past week was certainly no exception.

No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, these athletes in south Florida continue to elevate their standing by competing pretty much year-round.

Having the pleasure of watching so many football prospects LIVE in game conditions, we have that opportunity to discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.

Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.

BODDEN PROFILE

PLAYER: Luis Bodden

POSITION: OL

SCHOOL: Miami LaSalle

CLASS: 2022

HEIGHT: 6-2

WEIGHT: 285

SCOUTING: First watched this impressive line prospect after his sophomore season, and the commitment that he made to head coach Hector Valle’s Royals showed this past season – and again already in this off-season, attending camps and combines and showcasing his many skills.

He is quick, strong, agile and will get after you until the play is over. He works hard at being one of the best, and he is well on his way to doing that this coming season. In the MRE Combine last week, he turned plenty of heads, including Terrell Owens, who watched many of the drills.

If colleges and universities want that athlete who brings it all to the table, here he is. From production to leadership and getting it done in the classroom, he is truly one to watch.
