SUMMER SPOTLIGHT: Hezekiah Harris Ready To Give BTW A Lift

If you are a student/athlete, and have been patiently waiting for college campuses to open, this is certainly a month you better make the most of the opportunity.

With just June to make up for the past 14 months, high school athletes have been busy attending camps and 7-on-7 events, trying to get noticed.

Yes sir, this month is heating up.

HARRIS PROFILE

PLAYER: Hezekiah “Champ” Harris

POSITION: QB

SCHOOL: Miami Booker T. Washington

CLASS: 2023

HEIGHT: 6-1

WEIGHT: 175

SCOUTING: The one south Florida program that has not hurt at the quarterback position through the years is Booker T. Washington.

No matter who is coaching or playing for the Tornadoes, they have always managed to have a quality quarterback, and this year will be no exception.

Along with 2024 standout Claudell Sherman, here is one of the up-and-coming quarterbacks in south Florida, and while this impressive prospect has not received any attention at all in the off-season, college coaches who have watched him perform, are already loving what they see from this accurate and gifted playmaker, who is coming off a solid spring.

Not only does he have a tremendous throwing arm, but his accuracy has already been watched by a number of college coaches who love his arm strength and decision making for someone who is so young.

As head coach Gerald Cox and this team continues to build for the future – with a more than challenging schedule for 2021 – you can guarantee that this program will have a leader under center. Maybe two of them!
