St. Thomas Aquinas 2021 WR Quincy Skinner Jr. Is Turning Heads

No matter what team it is, there are always athletes, who may not get all the publicity at the beginning, but somehow find their way into the spotlight.

When many tell you that no matter where you go – big school or small – powerhouse or just a regular program – if you have talent, you will be found.

While some may not get the play that others receive, there is certainly no mistaking talent, and as the old saying goes: “the cream rises to the top”, and it is truly a fact.

In south Florida, there are so many athletes, finding your way into the spotlight is never an easy thing to do, but once you get there, it’s a good bet that you are in that position to stay. It has always been that way.

SKINNER PROFILE

PLAYER: Quincy Skinner Jr.

POSITION: WR

SCHOOL: Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas

CLASS: 2021

HEIGHT: 6-1

WEIGHT: 175

SCOUTING: Here is a football talent who has always been gifted, and while it has taken him a few years to reach the potential that many had predicted long ago, this is easily one of the premier prospects around.

With collegiate offers coming in daily, and performances – such as 7-on-7 events and the Rivals.com Camp – great talent is always uncovered.

Look back at this past season, when head coach Roger Harriott and the Raiders were posting an impressive 15-0 season that resulted in a Geico National Championship, and you will find stars – quality talent just about everywhere on the field.

What you get in this young man is a true talent, who knows how to run routes, has the quickness to extend plays and the overall athleticism to create mismatches.

This season is one that will be a huge breakout year. While the colleges already know about what he can do, he is anxious to take a lead role for a team that is once again expected to be among the best in the nation.
