Sophomore Jamari Ford Ready To Make A Statement At Booker T. Washington

The one thing that we will continue to do during this pandemic and throughout the 2020 season is promote every athlete in south Florida.

No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, we will promote EVERY PROSPECT in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Having the pleasure of watching more football prospects LIVE in game conditions than any other source, we discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.

Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.

FORD PROFILE

PLAYER: Jamari Ford

POSITION: RB

SCHOOL: Miami Booker T. Washington

CLASS: 2023

HEIGHT: 5-7

WEIGHT: 175

SCOUTING: The one thing that Booker T. Washington was lacking during last year’s 4A state championship season is a consistent running game.

While the Tornadoes had a few backs who could run the ball – and made a difference – it didn’t come every week. But with first year head coach Gerald Cox moving in, there is a back who is a homerun hitter – and certainly someone who can make a major impact.

While we watched his brother dominate for years at the high school level, the past two years, here is a talented young man who has proven that as he matures and gets bigger and stronger, he will be much like Johnny.

Fast, great vision and very athletic. This is the kind of football player who is perfect to add balance to the best high school quarterback in south Florida – and an offense that has plenty of playmakers.

Watch Jamari run the ball and you know that he is special. There is no guess work. He is a solid football player who loves the game and plays with plenty of passion.

As the Tornadoes lost some pieces from 2019, they also add prospects like this who has a chance to be very special over the next three years and gives this impressive program yet another quality weapon on the offensive side of the ball and on special teams.
