NEXT UP: Don’t Sleep On Talented Hallandale WR Daverrick Jenkins

If there was anything that came out of this year that was positive – it had to be the way so many younger prospects stepped up to grab that spotlight.

No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, these athletes in south Florida will have our support in helping to promote these gems.

Having the pleasure of watching so many football prospects LIVE in game conditions, we have that opportunity to discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.

Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.

JENKINS PROFILE

PLAYER: Daverrick Jenkins

POSITION: WR

SCHOOL: Hallandale

CLASS: 2022

HEIGHT: 6-3

WEIGHT: 180

SCOUTING: Here is yet another one of those young men who basically has not had much exposure, but what many have seen from him is indeed head-turning.

In a world where major talent often hovers just below the radar screen, here is one of those football players who truly has an opportunity to be very special in 2021.

Watch him abuse defensive secondaries with his height, route running ability and impressive hands. This is someone who is a very gifted prospect, and you can guarantee that the Chargers will use him in many ways.

The college coaches we have spoken to and have broken down this impressive athlete believe that this off-season and into his senior year, this is one of those talented prospects who will continue to receive plenty of attention.

Also, remember that his athletic ability gives him a chance to play multiple positions – including “wildcat quarterback”, where he can run and even throw if needed.

The 2021 season is going to be defining for this young man. The off-season leading up to it will certainly be very important.
