Howard University-Bound Jaylon Tolbert Looks To Make A Difference In 2020

The one thing that we will continue to do during this pandemic and throughout the 2020 season is promote every athlete in south Florida.

No matter what class they play in – or what college they have in mind, we will promote EVERY PROSPECT in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Having the pleasure of watching more football prospects LIVE in game conditions than any other source, we discover much more than the athletes that are hyped and pushed out by every recruiting service and fan website.

Anyone can watch a film and be an “expert”, but very few can make the effort to promote prospects nobody sees or talks about by watching them play.

THE TOLBERT PROFILE

PLAYER: Jaylon Tolbert

POSITION: QB

SCHOOL: Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna

CLASS: 2021

HEIGHT: 6-2

WEIGHT: 165

SCOUTING: From Cypress Bay to Hialeah and now as he has started his senior year, here is a football talent who has been showcasing his many skills to college coaches and fans all over the country.

As he moves over to the three-time defending 3A state champion Lions this season, this quality talent comes in to help add balance – and be a part of a machine that is fine tuned.

Along with junior Brady Kelly, Jaylon Tolbert has landed in Hollywood for the exposure that has surrounded him, but has never completely been recognized for all the things that he brings to the table.

In his debut last week in a win over Champagnat Catholic, he had a chance to run the offense, show his arm strength and leadership ability. He is simply with head coach Dameon Jones and this football program to help continue to steer this talented ship.

What he brings to the table is something that college coaches have watched, for three years. He is indeed a gifted, versatile (basketball standout) a smart (4.0 GPA), young man, who like any talented artist, needed that canvas to do their work.

His experience – along with what he has done in his football career has given him an opportunity after high school, committing to Howard University back in June.

While he has nothing to prove on the football field or in the classroom, he would like to end his high school career with a state title – and that is indeed within reach.
