In south Florida, it is not enough to be a quality football prospect. What need to bring to the table to rise above some of the other prospects is much more.

Being versatile and capable of lining up at multiple positions is essential whenever you play high school football. It not only gives your high school coaches an opportunity to use you at different positions, but it also helps college coaches look at the prospects in many ways.

There is no doubt that getting a college scholarship is paramount, especially during these tough times that we are going through, so you have to do what is necessary.

SCOUTING: During last year’s run at a 10-1 season and a GMAC Independent League title, head coach Tom Caporale and his staff looked for athletes who can make an impact for a team that had its share of talent.

While they realized that they had something very special in Ferguson, they also knew that the gift of playing anywhere in the defensive secondary certainly helped to elevate this program.

This is a quality talent that has turned heads in the off season – and when the 2020 campaign begins, you can guarantee that this will be one of the football players that the Lightning will be looking at to continue to make an impact for a team that has a sound mix of veteran and younger players.
