QUICK HITS – Southwest Miami Looks To Keep Producing Elite Football Players

While the Coronavirus is dictating high school football, across the country, we can understand the need for ongoing exposure.

Because we promote high school football in south Florida year-round, there is no need to stop right now.

In the coming weeks, we will have a brief look at the school in south Florida in a segment that we call “QUICK HITS”.

Today, our “QUICK HITS” makes a stop back in Miami-Dade County and checks in on Southwest Miami.

SUMMARY: There are many programs in south Florida who happen to have a tremendous pipeline to several communities and youth programs. Here is one of them.

Check the roster of players that this school has produced over the years and you will see athletes, who have started their careers with the Eagles, only to make the move to another school.

For a program that has been able to attract those stellar athletes, keeping them has never been easy, and this school is NOT alone.

In an area where coaches sell premier athletes on rings and championships, Southwest Miami has always been about preaching “family” and “development” along with a quality public school education.

Credit to coach Coach March and his staff for being able to teach and coach these prospects, even after a number of key prospects have moved on.

Instead of complaining and dwelling on it, this program continues to move on and develop prospects – and one day – instead of taking the knowledge and care that Coach March and this school has provided, student/athletes will remain to finish the job that they started as ninth graders.

As the 2020 season unfolds, there is plenty of quality football talent on hand as this team will one again give it another shot to jump into the playoff mix – with plenty of competition to go against.

For the past 50 years, we have spent more time on football fields than anyone in the country. From games to practices, camps, combines and 7-on-7 events, nobody has evaluated more football talent than we have – and as we are in the midst of a pandemic like no other time before – we will remain steadfast to promote all south Florida’s high school football prospects.
