QUICK HITS: Northeast Continues To Tap Into A Very Talented Community

While the Coronavirus is dictating high school football, across the country, we can understand the need for ongoing exposure.

Because we promote high school football in south Florida year-round, there is no need to stop right now.

In the coming weeks, we will have a brief look at the school in south Florida in a segment that we call “QUICK HITS”.

Today, our “QUICK HITS” get back to Broward County as we check out Northeast High.

SUMMARY: There is no doubt that if you have followed high school football in this region of the country, there are several programs who have produced more than their share of quality talent.

Here is one of those teams that has long fed on the community and the many athletes that continue to pour out of the competitive youth programs.

With several prospects who have a chance to be special, the Hurricanes are certainly a team on the rise – using a mix of veteran players along with underclassmen who have worked hard in the off season to make an impact.

As Oakland Park and surrounding areas are loaded with athletes, this football team is starting to use those difference makers to continue turning this program around – searching for post season play.

The players and coaches have looked forward to 2020 since the end of last season.
