SUMMARY: While this program lost a number of players and coaches from last year, former NFL standout Kevin Burnett took over with a plan that will get this program back in the mix sooner than later.

With his NFL experience and contacts, there is no doubt that Burnett and the Mustangs will indeed have the players ready to go.

Former McArthur standouts Damion McIntosh, a 10-year NFL vet, and popular Bryant McFadden, who starred with the Pittsburgh Steelers and is currently an NFL analyst, lead a group of former professional players who will join Burnett’s inaugural staff.

Along with McIntosh and McFadden, the Mustangs will also welcome in former receiver T.J. Houshmanzadeh, who had over 7,000 yards and 40 touchdowns, ESPN Analyst Marcus Spears, Super Bowl winning defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka- Super Bowl winning defensive end, 12-year veteran and Pro Bowl defensive back Brent Grimes and Jermon Bushrod, who is another 12-year NFL veteran and Pro Bowl performer.

In addition, the staff will also feature 8-year veteran and former Dolphin DB Nolan Carroll, former Dolphins’ No. 1 pick Vontae Davis, 5-year NFL veteran linebacker Austin Spitler and . former Ohio State standout and 5 year NFL veteran Anderson Russell.

Also coming aboard is world renowned motivational speakers Inky Johnson and Ben Newman, and Kurt Richardson, an entrepreneur and motivational speaker for seven NFL teams.
