QUICK HITS – New Coach, New Attitude - New Season Ahead For The West Broward Bobcats

While the Coronavirus is dictating high school football, across the country, we can understand the need for ongoing exposure.

Because we promote high school football in south Florida year-round, there is no need to stop right now.

In the coming weeks, we will have a brief look at the school in south Florida in a segment that we call “QUICK HITS”.

SUMMARY: For the past two season, here is a program that has struggled to get things going on the football field, but as gloomy as the future may have been over the past year, there is plenty to be excited about.

As Monte Dilworth and his coaching staff found out a few years back, solid coaching and hard work can change perception and the course for the future.

We have watched this program win on the football field, and with Coach McCartney bringing his many years of knowledge and football savvy to Pembroke Pines, there is a new feeling off U.S. 27.

Yes, the talent is there – and while the climb will be uphill – we have watched the Bobcats play winning football before.

What fans have to look forward are football people in place to help get this team back on course – where it was when they appeared in post season playoffs – and came out on top.

For the past 50 years, we have spent more time on football fields than anyone in the country. From games to practices, camps, combines and 7-on-7 events, nobody has evaluated more football talent than we have – and as we are in the midst of a pandemic like no other time before – we will remain steadfast to promote all south Florida’s high school football prospects.
