While the Coronavirus is dictating high school football, across the country, we can understand the need for ongoing exposure.
Because we promote high school football in south Florida year-round, there is no need to stop right now.
In the coming weeks, we will have a brief look at the school in south Florida in a segment that we call “QUICK HITS”.
Today, our “QUICK HITS” goes back to Miami-Dade County to check out the Monsignor Pace Spartans.

SUMMARY: When Mario Perez took over the program last year – after years of success as Offensive Coordinator at Plantation American Heritage, his plan was to lay down a solid foundation and build from it.
As he enters his second season, you can see exactly what he is doing, and the player believe in the process.
After a playoff year in the first season, there is plenty of optimistic for this program moving forward.
This is a team loaded with talent – and even though there are very few seniors – enough leadership to keep the Spartans in a positive spotlight.
There is no getting around the fact that 4A is among the toughest regions in any class, especially in south Florida, so the task will once again be very tough to accomplish.
