QUICK HITS: Everglades Prep Looking To Tap Into A Very Talented South Miami-Dade County

While the Coronavirus is dictating high school football, across the country, we can understand the need for ongoing exposure.

Because we promote high school football in south Florida year-round, there is no need to stop right now.

In the coming weeks, we will have a brief look at the school in south Florida in a segment that we call “QUICK HITS”.

Today, our “QUICK HITS” takes a trip down to southern Miami-Dade County and checks in on Everglades Prep.

SUMMARY: As the southern end of Miami-Dade County continues to churn out talent, more and more keep popping up each year.

With Donald Jackson taking over this team for the 2020 season, there is plenty of optimism and talent that is ready to start a new chapter in this school’s history.

One of the schools that has been attracting several students for its quality academic program, football is now looking to tap into the talent that this area of Miami-Dade County produces – with several athletes competing at a high level youth program.

Coach Jackson is looking for his years of experience and an impressive coaching staff that is plugged into the community – and that is what many are hoping will spike this program into the future.

With several key 3A schools in the region – which includes Miami Edison, Somerset Silver Palms and Miami Westminster Christian, there is plenty of work ahead, but a group of players, coaches, teachers and administrators who are certainly in this for the long haul.
