QUICK HITS – Plantation Will Always Be In The Hunt For A Key Playoff Spot

While the Coronavirus is dictating high school football, across the country, we can understand the need for ongoing exposure.

Because we promote high school football in south Florida year round, there is no need to stop right now.

In the coming weeks, we will have a brief look at the school in south Florida in a segment that we call “QUICK HITS”.

Today, our “QUICK HITS” heads up to Plantation to check in on the 7A Colonels.

SCHOOL: Plantation Colonels

HEAD COACH: Steve Davis

2019 RECORD: 10-2

2021 - Rhondon Barnes, DT

2021 - Nickel Beauvois, OC/OG

2021 - Xavier Bolden, Athlete

2021 - Jacolby George, WR

2021 - Naheem Hennis, RB

SUMMARY: With only two setbacks to the same St. Thomas Aquinas program in 2019, this team fully understands what needs to be done to continue to close the gap with the nationally-rated Raiders.

Coach Davis is easily one of the top football coaches in south Florida, and while some key losses will sting, the talent that this program has one the roster has a chance to be very special and continue to make a push toward a key playoff spot in 2020.
