MIAMI – By now everyone knows that West Broward (Pembroke Pines) High will be a major force in Class 6A when the 2025 season gets started at the end of August.
Head Coach Brian McCartney and the Bobcats have already shown, during the spring and so far during the summer, that they have the skill to stay with anyone on their schedule showcasing talent during 7-on-7 events and camps.
On Wednesday at Florida International University, this program unleashed another part of their game that will certainly be something to keep an eye on.
When head coach Willie Simmons and his staff welcomed top offensive and defensive linemen to their campus – along with a 7-on-7 tournament – programs across south Florida started to get the full picture why this team will indeed be something special.
Five offensive linemen joined several other prospects for a camp that shined a spotlight on what this team will offer up front.
As several quality players took part during the morning, offensive line coach Edwin Pata had the chance to see some potential players that could land in this program in the coming years.
