West Boca Raton & West Broward In 6A and The 3A Rematch Between Raines & Northwestern On Day 3

6A FINAL - No. 4 Pembroke Pines West Broward (12-2) vs. No. 3 West Boca Raton (12-2). Coming into the state playoffs, football experts across the state felt they had it all figured out. West Broward and head coach Brian McCartney would fold under pressure. Well, the Bobcats are still around and making their first ever trip to the championship game.

This is a program that was tested early by national powers Corner Canyon, Utah and Camden County, Georgia, but since those two games to start the season, this is a team that has taken it one week at a time and are ready.

On the other side of the ball, the Bulls who were in the same position as their opponent this season. They reached the finals for the first time under head coach Dylan Potts and were underdogs to Kissimmee Osceola, but in the end, dominated and finished off a perfect season.

While this season has been filled with some challenges, they showed why they are once again in this position after pulling off a huge upset on the road against Seffner Armwood to return to Pitbull Stadium to defend their title.

3A FINAL - No. 2 Jacksonville Raines (13-0) vs. No. 1 Miami Northwestern (13-0). Be careful what you wish for – and from the time that the Bulls ran the clock on the previously unbeaten Vikings to the start of this season, the focus for head coach Donovan Masline, a Raines graduate, and his football team was to get back to this game and show the state and nation that what happened last year will not repeat itself.

This team has dominated all 13 opponents, outscoring the teams 657-69 and showcasing plenty of speed and elite prospects. Remember, their quarterback is a major weapon with his legs and arm.

But saying that you will change the outcome of last year and actually doing it are two different things. First year head coach Jaquatin Victrum and his guided this national power back to this title game with a powerful offense that has average over 50 points per game and has weapons all over the field.

To repeat, this team has to have a fast start and maintain for four quarters.
