South Florida Miami Combine Sets The Tone For The Off-Season

MIAMI – As former Miami Dolphin receiver Chris Chambers greeted over 100 south Florida football prospects last Sunday, he talked about exposure and how not everyone is out to assist you.

With high priced off-season camps and combines out showcase themselves and not the athletes, the 2023 South Florida Combine Series kicked off this exposure event on a rainy day at Ives Park.

By the time the three hours had finished, athletes tested, learned, competed, took photos and videos and promised that EVERY player who attended would get their name of repeatedly throughout their career at the high school level.

While many combine events are often not a pleasurable experience, players, parents, and those who came out put themselves on the radar left with a positive feeling.

For $40, it was indeed obvious that this day was ALL about the football players who came from Classes 2023-2027.

“When we run an event like this, the promises that are made are kept 100 percent,” Chambers said. “We teach these young men something, give them a barometer of where they are and will track them throughout their high school career.”

Coming from as far away as Connecticut, Orlando and Palm Bay and as close as Dr. Michael Krop, which sits in the background of this facility, each prospect who attended had nothing but positive things to say.

“What our objective has always been is to provide an experience and something that these young men and their families will remember a very longtime,” said Laz Suarez who produces the entire showcase via his Bleechr.com website and social media. “As we head toward West Palm Beach next month, it will once again be our objective to continue putting these student/athletes firmly on the map.”

IMPRESSIVE SHOWING FOR SEVERAL ATHLETES

As testing results will be posted along with video and photos of the day, college coaches who were not in attendance will have an idea what this day was all about.

As Florida Memorial University, MTI Prep, Atlantis Prep and the University of Fort Lauderdale came out watch, other schools will be watching and reading all about the three hours spent.
