Quarterbacks Showcase Skills At South Florida Miami Combine

MIAMI – With so many qualified football prospects attending Sunday’s Miami South Florida Football Combine at Ives Park, the one position that really surprised was quarterback.

Go to any camp or combine in south Florida and you will find some amazing football talent at just about every position. But the one spot that rarely takes center stage – the quarterback.

While the position is definitely making major strides, it still hasn’t been a pipeline to the next level – but that is starting to change.

On Sunday, quarterbacks stole the show – with talent come from every class.

“I have been to a ton of these combines,” said former Miami Dolphin receiver Chris Chambers. “It’s usually the quarterback position that falls behind. That was not the cas  e for this combine.”

Nine prospects showed up and definitely showed out. Here is a look at those players who turned some heads.

2024 - Kael Alexander, QB, 6-4, 185, Miramar – 4.57 GPA. Ever since transferring last summer, here is someone who has been able to impress and turned heads – leading the Patriots three rounds deep in the 3M state playoffs.
