THE SCOOP

There are very few football players in south Florida who have a grasp for the entire game than NMB.

What veteran head coach Jeff Bertani has always done is teach and coach the way he learned – from many influential and knowledgeable coaches and football minds along the way – as a player, and as a coach for over 30 years.

His team know offense, defense and special teams – not only to enhance their contribution to the team, but getting them ready for the next level, where playing multiple positions can enhance recruiting and making a contribution in college.

With a number of prospects moving on to the next level, the 2022 season will be the usual senior leadership along with gifted underclassmen, who are ready to make an impact.

A playoff ready team, the Chargers are always in better shape than the opposition – and often more schooled in the sport.
